After a rebranding for the summer, the team formerly known as Blades of Steel have reached the HNX Summer Championship game as the Final Boss.

Andrew Lee deflected a shot off the point from Matt Tang with under 10 minutes to play in the 2nd period that proved to be the game winner.
Deadpucks' sniper, Andrew Ross, quickly erased the two-goal Ninja Panda lead after he caused a turnover off Sandy Keung mere seconds after Lee's goal and marched in to the Ninja Panda zone and blasted a shot pass goalie Tim Dupuis.
The Deadpucks were playing shorthanded - with 9 skaters - as superstar Kyle Gauvin was a last-minute scratch.
